In 2007, we were contacted by Guy Gypens, the director of Rosas, and Ilse Den Hond, the new communications manager. Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker had already been looking for some time for a graphic designer to succeed Gorik Lindemans. The first question: what are we going to do about the logo? For us, there was no question of altering the logo that Gorik Lindemans had designed when the Rosas dance company was founded. On the other hand, there were many different versions of the logo in circulation. That is why we asked Gorik to delve into his archives in search of the original design.
